It was great meeting some of you at yesterday's show. I didn't receive free tickets and the free gift was a white Can-Am hat and even though I was told to bing my registration you didn't need it. Not sure every owner received a hat for this reason. The group of ladies wearing pink were from the Girls on Spyders FB group...

I was there and had a great time. Proud owner of the white cap now. Didn't get to meet anyone, as I don't know anyone personally, but I am sure people standing next to me belong to either this forum or the one of the spyder groups on FB. Did see the ladies in pink as they were showing off their spyder tees.
Kind of disappointed that the shocks on the ST are standard ones, was hoping they were either fox or elka.

2013 International Motorcycle Show -- DC

Yesterday, the wife and I attended the 2013 International Motorcycle Show. Had a great time. Met a few spyderlover.com members at the 2 pm gathering and got the free Can Am cap. Attached are a few pictures taken at the event..

Wife experienced her first Harley ride @ their "Jumpstart Experience" exhibit. It was so cute watching the "future motorcycle riders" ride the Strider pedal-less bikes...

Freebie Tickets

Like SPYRID, I too received my tickets about two weeks ago. Met SPYRID at the show, pleasure talking with you. I used your info to join yesterday. I did however mistakeingly refer to spyderrider rather than spyrid when asked who referred me. Thanks for the info.

I rode my spyder up

the building visible is the convention center, less than a block away:

I had my own personal guard too, a lady was parked in an SUV on the other side waiting for her daughter who was at an education convention is the same building. She said she kept trying to nap but there was a non-stop stream of people coming by to see the spyder and take pictures of it. Some lady from the convention came out with a video camera and took some footage of me getting ready to leave.

I met up with some of the great people I met on the Shenandoah ride and met some new people, too. And, I got my CanAm Owner hat, thanks CanAm!

It was good talking with you and your brother at the IMS Saturday. Glad to see you joined Spyderlovers.com...you've joined the greatest forum for everything Spyder from technical/ mechanical, to funny, to just plain non-sense (mostly from Bob D.) . Enjoy your 2012 Lava Bronze RT. See ya...
