• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

International Motorcycle show in NYC...

my victory kingpin was also water cooled and never had a problem, but as far as the indian goes it is a matter of taste, i know a couple of people that have them but the fenders on the bike just don't do it for me

I was also at the show today from 10am to 3pm.Good show. The F3 for me not impressed.I thought maybe I made a mistake getting a 2014 RTS 4 months ago but that went out the window after seeing the F3.Yes nice for BRP but not for me.Then the other toy I wanted to see :roflblack: how does a 6' 2" 275 guy get in the Slingshot..........HE DOESN'T :banghead: Overall good show with all the other bikes and gadgets to see.My top pick goes to the 2015 Indian Scout nice bike if you like 2 wheels.
wasn't at the show this weekend, but did manage to get in and out of a slingshot at waite powersports in adams cnter ny. i'm 5'10"(255#'s) and after trying it one way and then doing it the right way, I had no problem at all. step into it with two feet and then sit down. reverse the procedure and step out.

Yes I will have to try again. My salesgirl was there and told me to come to the dealership and try sitting in it again.Less audience the better

027.jpg031.jpg032.jpg052.jpg068.jpg Oh! The old, bald, fat dude on the RT; rumor has it, that it he got rig to the docks, before they got the keys back... :roflblack:

As a Victory owner...

Victory has never had a water cooled motor. I had a 2004 Kingpin and it was oil cooled with a big old oil cooler on it. It's sump held six quarts of oil!!! Now my 2012 Cross Country (also oil cooled) only holds four and a half quarts of oil. The Kingpin had a 92 cubic inch motor with a five speed tranny while my Cross Country has a 106 cubic inch motor with a six speed overdrive transmission.

This is great................ judging by the posts, the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ stole the show !!!!!!:firstplace:

Actually; most of us were just trying to figure out how to get our overfed and over-aged butts into it, without looking like the back-end of a baboon!

The Kawasaki H2 always had a crowd around it...
I was amazed at how many folks wondered how they could sell the H2R as legal for the street...
(It's not: the race slick and $50,000 price tag kind of tell the tale. :D)

so than i am corrected, my victory was oil cooled ??? i sure thought it was water cooled. but now that you mention it i had the oil cooler between the front frame pipes, i remember that because i bought a chrome cover for it. i also took the air box out and put the K&N kit in it to open that space up for more air flow.04050815344.jpg

Did you guys notice that winsome young Lass who was taking the pictures with her I-Pad at the Indian Booth?
You know; the one with fluid drive, and painted on pants...
I told the Missus that we should adopt her...
I think that I might have some vision back in my eye by next weekend!

How about the 4 models that came out for the Indian photo shoot around 2-2:30pm!
I could feel the wife's stare burning right through me as I tried not to look!

We were just leaving at about 2:00... mealtime, and about a three-hour drive back to the boonies... :opps:
Didja get any pics of them? ;)

The Missus ran the camera... :opps:
I'd post more of the Slingshot; but I'd hate to get Randy too excited... :D
