It does indeed look like the Elio--with a bit more sophistication. The problem I see here is with the electric power. That does not seem to be going well here in the good ol' USA.

Were this to come to the US in a gasoline version, I think that would put Elio in a bad position. opcorn:opcorn:

The problem with electric here in the US is the same problem as passenger railroad service... the US is just too big. Its too far from one place to the next. I drive 26 miles to work and barely see a tree. Let alone if I had to commute to another town.
Also government regulation does not help at all!

Piaggio already makes a trike that leans and get 70mpg. I had one 250cc. My the 500cc Piaggio gets 50mpg 2 up consistently. Btw I want to sell it. I use the spyder almost all the time despite gas mileage.
