• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

interesting info on the making of hornady bullets

I've used Hornady bullets in my reloading since 1979.
They fly well, give decent terminal ballistics performance, and their reloading manual information seems to be pretty accurate. :D

That was fun. ...

I did not know those details...lots of quality contol involved even today.....

Mt brother in-law worked there for quite a few years. He spent a lot of time overseas buying equipment from eastern Europe and Russia.
I never did get a chance for a tour, wish I would have.

For a bit of a contrast watch this. 4 million rounds a day when the video was made. Automated production. Raw material comes in the receiving dock and finished rounds out the shipping dock. All automatic except for the final packing. Almost all of it gets shot up by our military men and women.
