The safe I own is indistinguishable from other items in my home, unless you have seen their products somewhere. Mine requires no magnets to open, and is nicely cloth lined to protect my Glock and two extra clips, in case the zombie apocalypse happens while I am home. :shocked:

Rifles don't usually work best in a home environment:
The ability of their ammo to pierce multiple walls, often puts others in harm's way...
The overall length, makes it tough to use them in close-quarter situations...
Once someone gets within reach of you; they have the opportunity to try and grab the barrel...

Trust me they won't get that close and I have a 30 round mag in the bad boy. Can you say hamburger............

I don't know how your "Castle Law" is worded...
Here in New York; we're allowed to defend our position; but we've got to be careful about what is used for that defense.
An AR would be stretching the definition of a "defensive" weapon, and the 30-rounder would definitely get us in cuffs! :shocked: nojoke

Speaking of hamburger: I live near two State Prisons. The Guards' favorite weapon is the 12 gauge. Loaded with 00 Buck, they have been trained to shoot downwards towards the floors, and let the ricocheting start creating lots of fun!

I had a chat with the local law about just the same issue. I have my land posted against trespassing. They don't even need to be in the house and as long as they are a threat OPP's sucks to be you. I have some friends in NY that share our values and they have about had enough of Cuomo and de Blasio. CT that I lived in until 2011 is as bad or worse with Malloy.

I had one just like it... I turned it into a "Bullseye" gun. :thumbup:
I hand-fitted a new bushing up front, and a new link to the barrel at the rear, lightened the trigger to three and a half pounds (it broke like a glass rod! :clap, and then added an Aimpoint to a side-mount...
It was a 2" gun at 50 yards... :firstplace:
And then in a fit of stupidity; I sold it! :shocked: :banghead:
Now I've got an A-1, that's strictly set up for concealed carry...
