• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

integrated communication system in helmet

I have been trying to locate two helmets with the integrated helmet system. The hybid ST1 in particular in white. Anyone have a clue as where I can locate them? Every dealer I have contacted says they are back ordered and have no idea if and when they will be available. I am looking at other alternatives also. Thanks,

Not sure what size you need but there are two on eBay. Also, you can put the headsets in yourself. Just buy the ST-1 helment and buy the headset then install it.
I bought one ST-1 helmet with it already installed and the other ST-1 helmet I had to install the headset because I couldnt find the correct size. Its super easy.

I need an extra large and an small. I would like to have it integrated with the communication system, but at this point I would take just the helmet and buy the sound system separately. Thanks,

It will only take about 5-10 mins to install the BRP headset in the ST-1 helmet. The cuts in the side for the speakers are already there.
The ST-1 Hybrid Helmet with the built-in communication system only means that the speakers and mic are already installed, its not an actually communications system. You have to have the BRP CB/Communication System and Entertainment Harness for it to work. This is on top of the price for your helmets.

OK, I am ready to go just with the helmets and do the headset install myself. Any idea where to pick up the helmets???? Also, I need to understnad more about the push to talk aspect. The passenger must push to talk, but he driver does not? Where is the push button for the passenger? All new to me, thanks for helping.

Bert's Mega Mall as well as other sponsors here do Internet sales and offer 10-15% off and some offer free shipping and no sales tax. Their information can be found on the HOME page.

Feel free to send me a PM with any questions or concerns you have and I will be happy to email or call you. I will probably be able answer any question you have about this or at least point you in the right direction.

I bought two helmets today. HJC which I really like. I get my headsets from my Can Am dealer on Tuesday. I will be installing them myself. Thanks for the info. I will see how things go and perhaps solicit your help when I see where I am Tuesday night. Thanks again.

When you install your headsets, pay very careful attention to the earpiece location. It should be right over the hole in your ear, for best volume. I usually put on the helmet, then stick small pice of tape on each side (slid in on my finger), just over the ear canal. You wouldn't believe how much difference 1/2" can make.

Adding bluetooth to the helmut

SO out of curiosity, how did the routing go within the helmet?
I am trying to add the Scala Rider to my ST-1 hybrid helmet?
