• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Insurance Cost

Hi guy's I just recieved my Spyder insurance bill from Progressive $900.00:gaah: What are you folks paying and with what company? I have a great driving record, the two wheeler was half this much.

Thanks

Yep, these things are expensive to insure. The reason is they are new. The insurance companies dont have any data on them yet so they are playing it "safe" ..... for themselves. Mine was not $900 (more like $500) but it was still about the same as I was paying for 2 bikes. It should come down in a year or 2. Make sure you ask them to rerate at renewal time (assuming you did not get any tickets)

I paid Progressive $67 for my '93 Virago 1100, $95 for a 1982 Honda CM250 (go figure) and $634 for my 2010 RT-S. This is for 12 months. I do not understand insurance rates. The Honda (2800 miles) must be a classic collectors item. :>)

Easy to understand, Put all your two wheelers together they won't cost as much to replace as one trailer for the RT-S. will.
