• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Insurance Cost

Not sure if this has been discussed or not. What are you all paying roughly for insurance? I know it varies in states age and driving record. I'm just looking for a ball park.

This is going to be like which oil, how many pounds of air pressure, mpg. All are subject to many variables.

I note you are from Texas. Maybe best to ask for people from there to get an idea of "local" rates from various companies. Lots of factors still involved...age, driving record, etc.

I have four vehicles insured with State Farm in AK. I carry full coverage on all. Current billing says:

2017 Subaru Outback: $89 per mo/$1068 yr.
2015 Kawi Vulcan: $36 per mo/$432 yr.
2014 Spyder RT-S $44 per mo/$528 yr.
2011 Spyder RT A&C $34 per mo/$408 yr.

I have the Geico insurance on my 2014RT-SE6 full coverage and I pay $500 a year.

I have been with Geico for 7 years. Zero claims.

I am in Vermont.

I'm not far from you in The Woodlands and have Geico. With 4 bikes, full coverage on all and myself and wife covered you can see the rates below... note the yearly cost of the Super Duke R in comparison

2019 Ryker Rally - $802/yr
2019 Street Triple R - 802/yr
2018 Super Duke R - $711/yr
2011 V-Star Custom - $397/yr

Yes the STriple and Ryker are exactly the same... down to the penny

I have state farm and pay 332.96 on my RS but also have multi discount for the VW sportswagon, BMW mini, Alfa Romeo, Home owners and Earthquake. On the other hand after all those I am worthless if I drop dead.....:roflblack:

I quoted from State Farm (have home and auto with them), Progressive (via USAA), and Geico for a Ryker Rally. Geico was far and away the best deal...nicely covered for around $41/mo or $490/yr. I have not purchased my Ryker yet.

Dairyland full coverage 14 RT - $249.00 = 12mos. …..

If you want to SAVE $$$- Give Dairyland a Chance and get a Quote??? I had progressive and some other company in the beginning and Dairyland was almost Half the Price. (Other factors also determine rates)
