• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Instructions/Guides to get at the Spark Plugs and Injectors?

I don't have the service manual and would rather not shell out the $$ for this one minor repair so I was hoping that someone might have a video or guide for how to get at the plugs and injectors. I found a walkthrough for an RT but there is quite a bit of difference between the RT and an RS-S so I figured it was worth a post to see if such a thing was out there.

I did see the vids on the below thread, but he starts with a totally stripped down bike and I would like to only take off the tupperware that I absolutely have to.

Well..!!

It is well worth it to go online and get a shop manual. One plug (rear) is a breeze the other (front) is a bear. Best remove the air box for best access. As for the injectors :dontknow: never had a reason to mess with them.

Remember to blow compressed air into the plug well just after you break the plugs loose. There's a lot of small debris that accumulates down in the wells.

Very good Grasshopper

Two characters. That's what my message said I had to expand my post by. Now that we have that BS taken care of I would like to congratulate you on a good reminder about blowing out the debris in the spark plug hole before removing the plugs.
