Installing TricLED mirror lights, need some wire routing help?

Good afternoon, all. I mistakenly purchased the TricLED mirror lights from SlingMods, along with a few other items, and here's my issue:

While trying to push the wires from the mirror housing down toward the A frame, where the harness is installed, I'm unable to get any traction. With a PTFE tube, it finally poked through after about 4.5 feet of tubing. I'm unable to use it as a pull string because it gets hung up about a foot into it.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong; the video made it look simple, so I'm clearly missing something.

Responses with "hey dummy" are totally acceptable, I have a great sense of humor, I don't take things too seriously, these are fun toys and I like to learn better ways.

Also, the reason I said 'mistakenly' in my opening was due to the wiring on the "logic" sensor. Very poorly executed, but it works after some minor repair work.

At the outboard end of each mirror, remove the small torx screw and remove the other half of the mirror assy. (The part with the glass). That will free up more space to get the wire down...
