Installing stereo on my Spyder

Today, I am installing an actual stereo.
Not the kind that you can record music and play back through your earphones.....Im putting in Live XM, an amp and speakers...and when the bike is sitting there, you will never know that it has a stereo installed...absolutely NO body modifications.

I will post pictures tomorrow when its complete

actually, I just lied.
I forgot about the one modification I had to make to fit the XM face plate...but it looks great where it is

Not sure if you can see it at all on my spyder but I got custom marine speakers on the side put on with an ipod hook up. Amp is in the trunk compartment.

thanks Ron, that was actually alot of help....unfortunately, when I click on "Properties" for each individual photo, it doesn't list a URL or an address...it only lists the location of the photo and they all say a certain folder in "my pictures"

You missed the part about loading them to the web first. Try loading them to www.putfile.com

thanks for the help guys, I think I've got it now.

My stereo install was finished yesterday and it came out great.

speakers are mounted in the grills (you can see a little of the orange cones through the holes)

amp and XM receiver

volume knob

xm antenna fits perfectly in the gap at the bottom on the windshield

ok guys, I'll try it again.

the antenna fits perfectly in the windshield gap

volume knob on dash

amp and XM receiver in trunk

And the view from my seat.The speakers are mounted inside the pod, behind the plastic grills

No receiver....just the small XM unit next to the amp in the trunk.

The speakers are hidden behind the plastic grill vents on the dash...In the last photo you can see a little bit of orange color behind the vents...thats the speakers

3 1/2 inch speakers...300 watts each

What is the screen that you have attachted to your tank? what brand of system did you put in? How does your system sound with your helmet on? Do you have to have it really loud to hear it clearly and is it overly loud that everyone else can hear what you are listening to? I am trying to get some ideas as to how I am going to install some tunes.
