• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Hi folks,

About three weeks ago I found a YouTube video on installing Shock Relocators.

Now, for the life of me, I cannot find it again. :banghead:

Anyone out there in SpyderLand have a link?

Thanks in advance,

Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks,

No more calls; I found it. ( ).

Suggestion...

I did mine way long ago and remember your life will be so much easier if you remove the rectifier (finned square thing on the left frame) or at least remove the forward bolt and swing it out of the way for easier access to the long mounting bolts...

Question ..

I noticed that the jack was used at one central point which made it possible to elevate the wheels by hand.
Never seen that done before, but I am relatively new to wrenching on the Spyder.
This just a "pro mechanic" thing (frunk removal advised), or is it work safe for the average "Joe"

Certainly make it easier to upgrade my shocks in the future.

Hi Gene,

Re: I did mine way long ago and . . .

I was talking with Pitbull today and they only have one set left. And it might not be OK to sell.

They did not think that they will be getting any more produced.

Yes, it was. It was part of the whole new frame deal...
The brackets allow for a 2012 or older bike to mimic the shock angles used in the newer suspension design.
