• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Where is the intake air temperature sensor (Mass Air Flow) located on my 2011 RT? I am install mMagum tuning Dyna Boost and need to locate it. I also need to know which color wire is the signal wire from the oxygen sensors in the exhaust...The instructions really suck, lol.

Thanks for any help :-)

I believer I figured out the signal wire for the MAP but a little unsure about the oxygen sensors. According to the instruction it would be the black wire. If any one has done this before I sure would appreciate some input.

Thanks

Randy

Not sure if this will help you or not, but .............

In this pic, directly below the bottom part of the blower-fan, the tanish/silver part sticking up is the Front Oxygen Sensor & it only has one wire coming from it, and that is black, but also wrapped for the first few inches where it bends. Hope this helps, & you know that theirs a front & rear 02Sensor, right?

I'm not sure if you've found what you were looking for here or not, and I'm not sure if what I'm about to comment on is it or not, as I've not really read or heard of the RT having a (Mass Air Flow Sensor) but I do know that they have an AAPTS or (Ambient Air Pressure & Temperature Sensor) that it uses for adjusting the MAP program and in the below pic, to the left of Teddy on the right side of the Frunk, the wire with the white tag hanging from it is the location and is the actual AAPTS, if this is in fact what your looking for

If not, sorry to add confusion. :lecturef_smilie:

I have thousands of pics of Teds Red Sled in various degrees of being stripped down, not that I really know what/where everything is, but if there is more info you need, or more pics of different components of the RT, feel free to PM me & I can send you my cell # & discuss it with you further. Dave~

Found this description on their site... Should be interesting to see what happens if you succeed in hooking this up....

"Dyno-Boost is a fully adjustable performance chip also referred to as fuel controller designed to fuel injected quads. It is supposed to remap the factory fuel trim restricted hence multiple requirements manufacturers have to comply with nowadays. It tricks signals being read by the ECU, resulting an adjustment to the fuel curve, which is what causes the increase in HP, as well as improves acceleration and throttle response throughout the RPM range. This ATV performance chip simply wires inline with the signal wire of factory Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor which is a standalone probe or the part of the integrated Mass Air Flow (MAF, MAP, TMAP, etc.) sensor and plugs into the exhaust oxygen (O2) sensor harness on rare emission-controlled quads. Sudden kick out, much more horsepower and torque and fine throttle response coupled with improved fuel efficiency. Installation is easy, no special tools or expertise required."

My two oxygen sensors have 4 wires each , 2 whites, on grey one black. The instructions imply the black wire is the signal wire. The MAPS is the side of the throttle body and has 3 wires. The instruction for the RT: "locate the IATs (intake aire Temperature) also referred to as MAF or Map/TMAP (mass air flow) sensor on the intake. So I am confused. This unit is 2011 RT specific
