There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Installed Hindle, green filter, and Honda gaskets

I installed my Hindle, green filter, and replacement (Honda) gaskets today. After it was all torn down, I found the right gasket was totally missing. That probably explains why my foot was always hot and the tread on my riding boot de-laminated. :roflblack:

It sounds much better and isn't as loud as I expected. I'm going to ride it like this a week or two, then add the Juice Box Pro. In case something goes wrong, I don't want to troubleshoot everything at once.

I did it without jacking up the Spyder. I found the hook on the shock adjuster tool was perfect for the removing and replacing the retaining springs. To replace the Y-pipe, I used an 8-foot 2x4 as a class 2 lever to push it over the new gaskets..

The camera is a Go Pro, in case anyone wonders about the fish-eye lens.

:congrats:

The Hindle probably doesn't sound as loud as you expected because the worn out Y Gaskets made your stock exhaust much louder than it should have been. It actually sounded much better than the normal sewing machine sound in the video.

Hopefully the heat on your right foot will be better, and your boots will last longer now.

I took it for a quick ride. I can definitely tell the difference with the new gaskets. Before the noise seemed all around me, now it's all to the right rear.

And just like new sneakers when I was a kid, the new muffler makes be go faster. :2thumbs:

After I installed the green filter and 10K later I've yet to have any oil hit it and zero backfiring. Amazing improvement with that performance filter. I do check every oil change out of habit. Spyder just seems to breath better.

Smart move w/new gaskets. In fact the before shot sounded a little "throaty" to me. I think Spyderwolf was right..you got used to sound. Not a big fan of the Hindle but to each their own.

Nice long lasting upgrades!

How many miles on the GS before the gasket went?

The Gaskets on my GS started to go at 8 thousand, By 9 thousand when i changed them [w/Honda] The left side was about 75% gone, Right side was dust, I'm assuming most went out the Muffler.:dontknow:

I replaced mine at about 2500 miles and one was pretty much eaten through...I think this is a mod that should be done before an issue arises...you can almost be assured that the darn gasket will go...I just don't think it was meant to last too long...from those who have had the Honda for a long time, it seems to be far better...for me, all is good so far...

Nice upgrades, did that to 3 of my :spyder2:'s. You may as well count on getting the O2 modifier while your at it, I had to get them for all 3 due to the popping on decelerating which happens when using aftermarket pipes.

I've had no popping yet, but I've only ridden for a few miles, so far. Either way, I already have the Juice Box Pro ready to install, so I think I have to leave the stock O2 setup.
