• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed Chrome Handlebar

I decided to finally give it a go but after hearing horror stories on how hard it is to install the chrome replacement I was a bit uneasy. I was surprised to find it is not difficult, just time consuming however I made changes and repairs as I went along so I added about 2 hour to what proved to be about an 8 hour job by myself. I removed the frunk module then the console module which allowed easy access to the back side of the bars. I have added a shot of the bike just before the handle bars are about to go on. This tear down also alled me to route the last of my wiring correctly through the frame.

Tri Axis Bars

I'm also going through the same thing. Adding the new Tri-Axis adjustable handlebars as part of my massive list of upgrades currently underway. Although it is not necessary to remove the frunk, I can see where itwould give you a little more room to work on other things. I also removed the airbox in preparation for adding the KewlMetal performance intake while I had the console assembly removed. made it real easy. I Can't imagine how someone would do it with the console in place.

Pulling the Frunk is not necessary but I was working on the fog lights and, to avoid damaging anything as the console came off. With two people it would not be necessary. This was the first time I pulled the console off so I was interested to see how that went which proved to be very easy.
