• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Install comfort seat?

Guesswho

New member
Does anyone have good instructions on how to remove the stock seat from a 13 RS and how to install the brp comfort seat by chance? Bought the seat from a member from here but no instructions with it. Doh! Thanks for the help.

Raise up seat. Disconnect the shock from the bottom of the old seat.

Unplug the wire you see coming out of the back/bottom of the old seat. This is the passenger sensor connection, and works in conjunction with the nanny.

Remove the two bolts at the back of the attachment plate. Be careful not to drop them--they will go into the everlasting black hole of disappearing parts.

Installation of the new seat is the reverse of the above. You may have to adjust the length of the latch in order to have smooth operation of the lock/unlock mechanism.

Hope this helps.

There is a video on their web site that is good.
