• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Inspector Gadget's Heel/toe shifter

KNIGHTRIDER

New member
I ordered a heel/toe shifter from Inspector Gadget ([email protected]) last weekend and it was here Thursday. As advertised, it took about 5 minutes to install after I found my clamps. Today I did a 350 mile ride that included city and hiway riding. I was very impressed. It felt good to get back to the heel/toe. My only observations is that I would like to have the heel a little lower so tomorrow I will take out the front screw and pivot the heel down about 1 inch. I'll then drill another hole for the front screw. I expect the angle to be perfect then. Thanks again RL You have certainly made my riding a bit more enjoyable.

you mean this one?

I got mine today also.. haven't installed it as yet. I will test it with clamps before I drill holes... Thanks for the input...

Heel pad adjustment

Hey thanks guys. I designed it so it was somewhat adjustable. If you need the heel pad lower, you should be able to remove the screws, cut down the veritcal plate, re-drill the holes (use the extra screw I sent), and re-install the pad.
Thanks again for your comments.
