There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not required here. There are no inspections of any kind for motorcycles, ATV, or similar rides....

Last year the state of Maine redid their rules on inspection stickers. We had to carry them with the registration. The found out that only 20% of registered motorcycles were inspected. There solution was to have inspection tickers mounted on the rear fender. The outcry was loud against that. The United Bikers of Maine worked with the state to come up with a solution. We can get them any time of the year. They are put on the upper left corner of the plate. Another change was registrations expire in March instead of what ever month you originally registered in. Now law enforcement can visually see it. At least it isn't on the bike itself. :thumbup:
