• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Insecure Harley guy encounter this weekend

So I am out enjoying my F3, riding around the Colorado Mountains. I drop back into town for a bite to eat. I come up to a red light and stop. In enters Harley guy. Pulls up very close to me at red light ( oh great, I am thinking). I notice that this is not a real Harley guy, it is a weekend middle age yuppie Harley guy (even worse, I’m thinking). I hear him start laughing really loud. So I look at him (big mistake, I am thinking). He is laughing, shaking his head and pointing at my Sypder and proceeds to tell me how ridiculous the Spyder is and how everyone that rides them looks ridiculous on them.

Now, I know I should have kept my mouth shut. But in my defense, this must have been the longest red light in history and a person can only take so much. So I flip my visor up and say….. wait for it……

“your acting very insecure right now, which leaves me to believe you’ve got a very small dick”

At this point I have 2 things going for me. One, I am a female and two, I know the guy has to put his kick stand down to get off his bike to come after me.

Thankfully, after the guy stares at me in shock for a half a second, the light changes and he guns it and in a roar and a cloud of smoke he was gone.
:p

What happened to the "drag race" to the next light that I was expecting ??
A really good ending though

It might gave been more fun to just smile at him...

...and leave him in a cloud of dust, at the light!

But either way:

Cute.....

you know you can run circles around them....no need to show them, besides he probably looked like a scared rabbit hightailing it away from danger...:roflblack:

summer weekends

They seem to come out in droves on the weekends in the summertime around here. During the week and over winter the HD guys seem to be a better group of riders.

Hard to believe some peoples actions. I think you did right by not upping the ante. You never know where it will go.

We had an incident at a gas station here last week. One guy did not like the way another person was looking at him. He pulled a gun, shot the man in the chest and killed him. For a couple seconds of stupid, he will be spending the rest of his life in jail. He is 23 years old. They had never met before the gas station incident.

For the most part I find that all types of riders seem to respect one another. The worst you usually find is that your just out right ignored. I don't know what was up this guys butt.

I had it happen to me and my wife we were out riding and 2 guys on their HD's pulled up laughed saying can't you ride a real bike. I don't let people ever get to me so I just laughed and said guess that's 3 of us. No sooner the lights turned green and because of a firs the traffic was you know if you ride 2 wheels the speed you hate you can't stop you can't put your feet up and you're almost walking your bike. After 15 mins of this they looked back at me so I yelled hey your legs getting tired? How's those real bikes working out for ya. They got that stupid look on their faces and never looked again. When traffic cleared they tried taking of as fast as they could. I had to do it, I gased it and screamed pass them with the horn blasting.
