Next ?...since Corbin does their own "saddle trees/pans" is there a market for the stock seat? Also I have an after market Utopia backrest...will that go on the new Corbin or again someplace to recoup some of my investment? Thanks for all your help.

I'm very happy with the stock seat, but I LOVE the idea of not having to toss my girlfriend off every time I get gas.

I'm VERY good with my hands (double entendre ?).
I'm also very good with a dremel and a needle and thread. I could see trying to come up with a door modification for the stock seat. I just don't want to take the chance on my own.

love the seat LOVE the door/flap
i guess the only thing that could be an issue is your tank is now no longer secure and anyone has access to your fuel to take or to contaminate. it hasnt bothered me but since the key is no longer used to unlock the seat and gain access to the tank, now its just a flip up and BAM there it is. but i still friggin LOVE it
