• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

informal poll results: 50% Harley riders like the Spyder, the other 50%...

Amen - you said it!

I think there is a certain amount of "cache" that belongs with a HD. I rode one for years and loved it all. However, I made a well-considered decision to no longer ryde on 2 wheels. This is for my safety as well as others. Another motorcyclist does not need to consider my decision but, believe me, they are safer on the road because I'm on a Spyder and not another 2-wheel bike. I remember when trikes were considered.......amusing.

Frankly, as a woman of a certain age I could give a rat's arse what any other rider thinks of me. Some people are friendly, some are not. Some are curious about my Spyder, some are dismissive. I always try to acknowledge other riders simply because I respect the decision for us to be out there and take the risks and live the adventures.

I love my Spyder and I think it rocks!
