There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Indians new reverse trike!

Looks like that was built by the dealer in my town. I might try stopping by tomorrow to see it.

It was. Wayne, NJ dealer built this for the 2016 custom Scout competition run by Indian Motorcycle Company. This bike didn't win, for some strange reason!:roflblack: Therefore, it wasn't a factory idea or attempt to develop a trike.

Different strokes for different folks - not for me. Interesting, but NOT intriguing to me. :spyder:

Thanks for sharing the original post though.

Another ADD ON

Looks pretty cumbersome to me, it takes more than just gluing on a couple of extra wheels to make something ridable.:yikes: Not for me! I'll stick with my :spyder2:

it's good it's only a styling exercise. I've never seen an ugly bike but this comes darn close to me.
I really can't imagine Indian producing something like that.
The good thing is that it is sparking conversation about reverse trikes.
I am of the opinion that we will see more reverse trikes and better ones than the current crop built as ad-ons to existing bikes.
Can only be better for any who want one.

I think its different

[I Don't think it looks that bad, its got the Indian look. And I would also like to try one. I do expect that if perfected and mass produced that their cost will make the Spyder look cheap in comparison. But I think the more three wheelers out there like the Spyder will maybe force the Can-Am people to reduce the cost as they are pricey on the high end.]

Qu - does it lean ?

Remember when spyders first came out - 'ugly' was just one of the comments ...
And the John Deere lawnmower comments for the F3 ?

Bring on the competition I say

The Joh Deere lawnmower comments were made by ye olde spyderlovers, as was the ugly comment when the RT first came out.

I love Indian motorcycles. How many of you F3 owners thought it was ugly when the first photos were leaked. Have you been around when somebody fires up their Chief? That sound puts Harley to rest IMHO. I would be very interested in adding an Indian trike to the garage.

Nah, many two wheel riders called the 08 Rs ugly, amongst other comments. Neither is the lawnmower comment limited to Spyder owners.

So - does the Indian lean ?

I never said limited. When the RT came out, there were only GS owners on here, and the ugly, bed, and sofa comments were flying around on here. The John Deere comments, and ugly comments along with I wouldn't own one of those were quite common on here for a while.

Since the Indian trike is not real, it can do whatever you'd like it to do, like lean.;)
