Thank you...
My thanks to those of you, who welcomed me aboard. It's been an interesting journey, these past three weeks. Deciding at age 67, to purchase my first motorcycle. Of course, having a spouse who renewed her riding, after a 16-year stint, had a lot to do with it!:shemademe_smilie:
Having the only Spyder in Carroll County...well, it sure has opened up my social life, and not only with bikers. The guys at Action Motorsports in Lafayette, warned me: folks would come out of the woodwork, whenever I stopped someplace with "Bumblebee". They were correct!
I discovered wanting a Millenium Yellow SE5 could be a hassle. AMS didn't have one in stock...they went looking in the dealer network...would you believe a total of THREE, in the entire USA?! Thankfully, one dealer was willing to swap for a red one at AMS...so now I have my "yaller critter".
So far, only two gripes: the throttle is WAY too sensitive for my liking. I'm getting used to it, but I'm still not comfortable with it. The other big woe is starting...Bumblebee don't wanna start like the Owner's Manual sez. Found out this is a problem with other Spyders as well. Curious! But, my patient spouse Kathy, and I, finally sorted things out.:gaah:
All for now, everyone...hope to meet all, or at least some of you, on the road somewhere and sometime.
