There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Since there are already very effective headlights and perhaps parking lights in front, I installed the Custom Dynamics high center running/brake/turn signal LED lights, then LEDs on the rear side of the mirrors, then the saddlebag lights, amber reflectors/LEDs on the fenders, and red LEDs on the back of the fenders.

My F3 is lit up like a lighthouse. I had someone the other day pull up beside me and tell me my front lights are obnoxiously bright; I said, "Thank You.":doorag:

In the back I have TricLED's side saddle bag light and their rear turn signal lights that run the entire length of the Saddlebag.

While obnoxiously bright, are all your lights the same bright white color or is there contrasts of color to bring awareness beyond just brightness.
FWIW, the Spyder with LEDs I mention about in my previous post was painted red. The white Spyder with Halogen bulbs was more visible as I checked the mirrors and even had a look over the shoulder directly looking back.

He needs to study traffic laws! Modulators are legal in all states. Fed regulation overrules state law.

The number of accidents involving emergency vehicles with lights and sirens proves that nothing is going to do it all the time. It is a layered approach. Good lighting, situational awareness, and good riding skills are your best bet.
And I still think that using the brights during the day, or in traffic at night, is not only illegal, but a douche move. If you think your safety is more important than other people's safety, go for it.

257.685 Head lamps; number; modulator; height; auxiliary, spot, or other lamp; exemption.Sec. 685.
(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2), a motor vehicle shall be equipped with at least 2 head lamps with at least 1 head lamp on each side of the front of the motor vehicle, in compliance with this chapter. An implement of husbandry manufactured on or after January 1, 2007 shall comply with section 684a.
(2) A motorcycle or moped shall be equipped with at least 1 and not more than 2 head lamps that comply with this chapter.
(3) A motorcycle or moped head lamp may be wired or equipped to allow either its upper beam or its lower beam, but not both, to modulate from a higher intensity to a lower intensity. A head lamp modulator installed on a motorcycle or moped with 2 head lamps shall be wired in a manner to prevent the head lamps from modulating at different rates or not in synchronization with each other. A head lamp modulator installed on a motorcycle or moped shall meet the standards prescribed in 49 CFR 571.108.

What lights did you get from ebay? Its hard to tell what youre showing. Is it the a frame lights?
