• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

you should get a chapter going in South Florida: http://www.spyderryderofamerica.com/
You have a great bunch of Spyders in Central Florida.I have ridden with the group there. We are 80 miles South of you and from Palm City down to Miami Spyders are rare.Would love to ride with a local group of Spyders but think here in Martin and Palm Beach counties they are very few and far between.Have a group of 2 wheelers to ride with all the time but only very Occaisionally do I pass another Spyder.

Ivor:spyder:

I will be moving to Marion County in Ocala in a couple of years, looking forward to riding with some of you guys in the middle of the state, I ride alone most of the time or with my wife in Homested.

Nobody There?

I just "browsed" the entire site and it seem that there isn't a lot of interest in the site lately. In fact, I think I only saw one (1) Posting in 2013. I sometimes wonder if it's even worth while to stay. I've only seen one Spyder in my area (Lake Placid) since the get together at Golden Corral last year. I wasn't on my Spyder at the time, but I followed them from Placid Lakes into the gas station on Rt 27. Stopped and talked to them for a few minutes, but they didn't seem very friendly. I asked them if they belonged to SpyderLovers and they had no idea what I was talking about.
BTW: For what it's worth, I will be turning in my Spyder next month and purchasing what I consider one of the best motorcycles available.
