• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

it seems every other motorcycle gets its day in the magazine shootouts be it a victory vs hd or ducati vs aprilia or whatever other smack down you can imagine... looks like the spyder is getting its chance at not just a review but a full on 3 way motorcycle throw down.

The "featherweight" of the group weighting in at 765lbs flexing a muscular 1649cc in-line 6 cylinder face punching 158hp 129 lb-ft of road ripping torque its zeeeee German BMW1600GTL.

The bulky 933lb 1832cc horizontally opposed 6 cylinder often made into a trike cuz it wants to be that cool, with a neck snapping 160hp and 129 lb-ft of tractor trailer passing torque the, interstate slaying monster from the Far East the Honda Goldwing.
*nothing listed that i found on mfg website?? used alternate source

The no kickstand required 929lbs of 3 wheeled security harnessing 990cc of revtastic rotax v-twin bliss kicking out a healthy 100hp and 80 lb-ft of torquey Canadian baccon goodness the Can-Am Spyder RT... not bad for the companies first road going snowmobile Eh?

this better come arrive in my mailbox soon

(read the caption to the right if you are confused)

other ways to view the specs? -all figures are approx and rounded-
BMW: 4.84lbs/hp, 95.8hp/liter, 274.8cc/cylinder
Goldwing: 5.83lbs/hp, 87.3hp/liter, 305cc/cylinder
Spyder: 9.33lbs/hp, 101hp/liter, 495cc/cylinder

i can only assume they will outfit them all with the usual gps, mp3 connection, and abs to make the everything "even"... try optioning a reverse on two of them :) it had to be said and this better arrive sooooooon.
but who cares who wins i bought and love mine!

**woulda been cool to include a Tri Glide or Street Glide (as Motorcycle USA has a Cruiser section as well... if the Spyder is there and now that the HD trike is factory, why not?)
