Yep, she certainly is good. I started playing when I was 7, and I don't know how long my Father played, but he helped my Uncle become the youngest rudimentary drummer in the state of Ohio. I know, or assume that I couldn't do what she does, I was too busy learning how to play the 16 rudiments that used to make a good drummer. In high school we (our gang) had a dance band we put together and that was fun. I joined the Marine Reserve for a couple of years and we had a pretty damn good Drum and Bugle Corp. But anyway, that little video of Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa brought back the memory that on my 13th birthday, my Father took me to a Big Band Concert at the Cincinnati Music Hall to see Benny Goodman and .................. anyway, at intermission my Dad as come on, and we went back stage and he introduced me to those two drummers., on a first name basis. I almost died, to think my Dad knew them well enough to call them by their first name, and then knew his first name.

That's all, hope I didn't bore you too much, with my story.

Drummer -- Here's My Favorite (Liberty Devitto)

I am a Billy Joel fan and Liberty Devitto was his drummer for many years (about 30) -- saw Joel in concert at Oakland back in the early 1980s. To this day, I can tell if Liberty is on drums whenever I hear a Billy Joel song played. It wasn't until about a year ago that I realized why I like some songs and don't like others -- I like the songs that Liberty plays on and not so much those he doesn't. There is just something about the way he strikes a drum -- can't put it any better than that.
