I have to race against Docduru in jacksonville florida and I also have friends I should see in ft meyers FL area, I live in Bemidji, mn. I need to know about what area can I drop off my truck and trailer ( hopefully some one on here has a place I could leave this at, would pay ya whatever ya want to leave a truck and 10 foot trailer at their place) and drive the spyder down to FL.

it would be nice to ride in about 50ish weather down there, I know lamonster lives about were I thought the line is in TN but I am not sure, if anyone has any advice about this. I happened to get a two week period from chrismas day to the monday after new years so 12-25-09 to 1-4-10 I could ride around I think its about 2400 miles to jacksonville doc said so I am trying plan my trip, anyone that wants to go, hit me up on here, I am in a wheelchair so every other day it takes about 3 hours to take care of business but I try to ride fast enough to make up for this.

218-556-3994 if anyone has any questions or answers about this.

If you can't find someone to help, I have found that many self-storage depots will allow you to park the truck and trailer out of the way for no charge

I don't think you want to drive from my place Bro, I'm on the wrong side of the mountains. nojoke

I talked to docriverside and he is about 40 miles from jacksonville, FL, lamonster do you know at what point south can you get out and ride? the south end of TN?

Drop off in Ga Atlanta area i about 25mile out side if downtown I have cover area for you truck and trailer if you want to have a long drive. Weather is about in the 40 and 50 most time i ride ;year round again I'm from the great state of Mn

Seth, this is pretty variable, depending on the weather at the moment. I have had friends that trailered to southern Indiana then unloaded, at times, and at other times needed to go all the way to Georgia. Another thing to keep in mind is that the weather may be worse when you return. If it is ice, you could have trouble, seasoned winter rider that you are. At very least you could be delayed. Wherever you pick, I'd set the mark a few hundred miles south of what you think is acceptable, just to be safe...and timely in your return.

sounds good, I thought there would be some gray area of what is good and bad weather. I will try to figure it out, I am still looking for someone to go with, still in the planing stages.

If you get near Montgomery, Alabama stop buy ISCI for a visit. Would like to meet you.

let me see if I can swing by, I guess its about 33 hours to orlando from dirt town so I think I will try to do it in two days, what is the weather like in AL? if we could drop the truck and trailer there that would be awsome but I would like to stop by.

Weather in Alabama not much different from Florida. Just don't have the view. If you would like to leave your truck and trailer here at ISCI that will okay with me. We can put it inside the fence and it will be secure. Just let me know what day and time you will be here and it will not be a problem. Let me know, happy to help.

If I lived closer I'd let you take my Big Tex trailer-- can fit 2 Spyders no problem (or 55 sheep ---- don't ask-- lol).

Glad to see you've got plenty of help along the way to store your trailer, etc.

Sounds like a great trip--- anything to get out of the MN winter!

HDX suggested, and I concur, leave your trailer
in Oklahoma. Plenty there to keep it company.:joke:

what is the weather like in OK? it was where i was going to leave it if I went to texas,

Not enclosed------ but has really strong side tubing all around. Heck--- I've pulled it with a minivan before--- but only had a sub-compact tractor and loader in it-- usually pull with Surburban.....

33 hours in two days is a LOT if you've never done LONG trips before. How much of that would be on the :spyder2:?

The 1/8 mile drag strip is in Clearwater, FL http://www.sunshinedragstrip.com/

cool, can we run sometime when I am down there, My bud lives in ft myers area and has a house I can use. doc shoot me your number in a PM when you get a chance.

I have drove 650miles in on shot back a day later, that is when I burned my foot on here, so yeah I think I got what time on a bike is like, I want to try to get down and see the billy at isci in AL so the drive down after that will be on the spyder.
