Quick question for all you smart folks out there (So Bob D, this leave you out :roflblack
. If I install aftermarket accessories (i.e. lights, cat bypass, wraps, etc), will that void out my warranty. I understand there are some exceptions...like if I wire tap a harness and cut the wire, I don't expect BRP to have to pay for that. But say I am using the accessory circuit and something goes wrong with the electrical system, will they tell me to take a hike on a warranty claim. So far, all my aftermarket upgrades are reversible. I haven't done anything to the bike that I can't take off. For example, I had to tap a wire for turn signal lights, but I tapped into a harness, that was used for another light so if I screwed it up, I would just be out what I paid for the aftermarket lights.
I may be overthinking this, but just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone has run into any issues.
Thanks in advance for your input.
