• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm not home, yet!

Oh yeah

Now this ladies and gentlemen is what I call a Trip Report. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us.

I'm home!

Got home about an hour ago, safe, mostly sound, and dog dead tired! I guess my 72 yo body just doesn't take to these long trips! :banghead:

Somewhere along the way one of the hinges broke on the right saddlebag. Isn't there some discussion somewhere here about this being fairly common?

Left Tremonton in light rain for about 15 miles, then cloud cover in the 60's until Burley, ID. Sun, headwinds and temps up into the eighties the rest of the way home. Headwinds were so strong I couldn't get above 72 in 6th, and had to drop into 5th many times to stay above 70! After Twin Falls I just paced it with the semis. Their speed limit is 70. Pretty well stayed out of their way.

Great Trip Report!

Loved the pics and the write-ups...and glad you made it home through the weather with no additional issues on the Spyder!
