• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi, I just bought a RT Ltd (brown, or should I say "bronze"), pickup on Friday (sorry to those in the Chicago area, as I have just guaranteed rain this weekend). I rode for many years, but gave it up to raise kids. I was ready to get back in the saddle, and had seen the Spyder. I thought it looked very cool. Thanks to all who described the initially unnerving feeling when riding the Spyder after experience on two wheels. After my first test ride, I was thinking, "this is not for me". I went back to the dealer after reading more. And then after some more riding, I could already begin to feel more comfortable.

Hope to see some of you on the road this summer.

:welcome: and :congrats: on the ryde. Glad you were able to make the crossover. There is definately a learning curve. Mine was almost 1000 miles before I was confortable. I had been driving two wheelers for 45 years before encountering the :spyder2:. 55,000 or so :spyder2: miles later, I am happy that I have had the priviledge to own and ryde 3 different :spyder2:'s. Hang in there, it only gets better.

Teddy & I would like to say Congrats & Welcome to the SpyderHood

:congrats: Keep a lite grip on the handlebars, grip with your knees and when cornering, lower your center of gravity and have your chin over your knuckles while leaning into the curve:yes::welcome:

Congrats and I'm jealous! There is a bronze Ltd RT with a matching trailer at my dealer that I am drooling over but since I have an 09 RS with payments it is just not to be. lots of luck and fun on the new machine!!

Why yes it is

:congrats: on your new Spyder! Does it happen to be a bronze RT with a black saddle instead of the brown one?

Mr. Orange,

I see you are live pretty close to me. It is bronze with the black saddle, so you might have seen it at our local dealer. They also have a light saddle available, and I liked that look also - went back and forth.

FUN! FUN! FUN! I HAVE SEEN THE COLOR OF YOUR BIKE AND IT BEAUTIFUL:bowdown: CONGRATULATIONS AND WELCOME TO THE SPYDER WORLD:clap:
