• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm Impressed

My old Dodge acted up last weekend and I remembered seeing a ad on craigslist for a bluetooth OBD scanner, looked on amazon and they had several and I ordered one. Down loaded a free app to my android and it works! Today my check engine light came on again and within less than a minute found out number 4 cylinder was misfiring it gave suggestions as to the problems and then I cleared the error code, all from my android phone. I was aware there was a way to use I-phone to do this but until a couple of days ago did not know android could and did not expect the bluetooth capability. Sure wish we could get something like this for the Spyder.

Oh No Never

No no no do not do something like this to my Ms. Spyder.. here is how I would see it happening for me. I would get all excited and download the app. Remember folks I am non-technical and some of the most simplest things turn into very complex issues. But I love all this "smart" stuff..about this I say clearly never let me get such an app! Next thing I would try to use it and Ms Spyder would get all her computers scrambled and blow up!!!! So I am committing you to make sure I never get this thing!!!!

Was it expensive ? I could use the same thing for a Ford Windstar.
If you have a link I'd appreciate it.
