• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm gonna skin my Spyder

Well, I got the skin off. I was hoping to find a way to fix my glove compartment lid that won't latch. Haven't fixed it yet, but I'll play around some more tomorrow.

I did get a look at the flux capacitor though. Very impressive!

Gonna remove the glove box today and find out why it doesn't latch (hopefully)

Wow, Pam.
My RT did not come with the fancy yellow accel high-performance ignition wires. Looks like BRP short changed my flux capacitor. :yikes: Or maybe that was an overpriced BRP option? :dontknow:

That looks like an older model of the Flux Capacitors: the newer ones have attenuation circuitry that keeps harmonic vibrations from preventing the latching of certain panels... :D

Turn off your copper magnet latch precurser FOB

do this by latching & unlatching glovebox three times
Oh wait!
Crap u r stuck

What the Flux Bob!:yikes: Every time I try to buy the latest and greatest, someone has to tell me there is something better! It happens with computers, my IPhone and now my :ani29: has an outdated Flux capacitor, and it is only 6 months old. Geeshh when does it end? How can I ever afford to keep up now that I am retired?

That also explains why I had such a darn time trying to get my mirrors back on after installing the Tricled turn signals. I never thought it was caused by the outdated flux capacitor. Bob, do you have the new BRP part number for the updated Flux capacitor? I noticed the photo of the flux capacitor Pam posted was a 3 cylinder flux capacitor. May I assume that before the 2014 RT models came out, BRP only used 2 cylinder flux capacitors?

Well folks, this has been a great learning experience for me. I now know where the oil filter is and some other things I discovered while I was in there. I wasn't able to fix my glove compartment problem though, even after removing it. I'll just have to take it to the dealer for warranty work.

I did manage to get everything put back together, with only a few parts leftover. I'm fairly proud of myself.

Congratulations! I remember the first time I had to pull off the "skin" was to install HID fog and headlights. It started with like... hmmm where do you start. I promise it will get easier each time you remove the Tupperware. Like you, wound up with extra parts. 2 tuff lock rivets. It still annoys me to this day I cannot find where they belong.

I did take a quick look at my glove box, and guess as you found out there were no adjustments. Good Luck with the dealer, sure he will get it sorted for you.
