btw: why the extra set of TAIL-LIGHTS....???????

Direction indicators (Flashers)! The stock US arrangement is not acceptable in the
U.K. as there is not enough horizontal separation and red flashers are a no-no so they
come with that modification.

Also I get the auxiliary lights thrown in as well because 'shutter dip beam' is not
legal here, so the aux. lights are set up as dip beams. Why the hell they can't simply use a twin filament
lamp is beyond me!

The minor gripes will fade away mostly once you begin riding it. Meeting regulations which were conjured-up by politicians seems to be common on both sides of the "pond", just different ones though. Just get out and enjoy your new F3. Congratulations sir!!
