• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ignition module trouble

I've just had my first encounter with the ignition module in my 2014 RT-S. I've read you just need to keep trying and this did work after about an hour. I'm in Hammondsport, NY for a classic bike show this weekend. Spyder dealers I've passed coming down from Niagara Falls do not stock this module. I'm with my brother on our 15th annual ride. It appears my options are to search out a dealer with the part or to take my chances and head on back to Nashville. Any suggestions? Thank you.

In todays world dealers ...ANY dealers ... no longer stock PARTS .... they can't afford to .... so except for the most mundane things like some filters and windshield wipers ...they aren't likely to have it ....plus if it's a warranty item the Dealer must get BRP's approval first ...... good luck tho .... the module appears to have corrected itself, at least it hasn't shown up in the last several days. I'm still on my trip, on the way to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater today. I would like to give a "shout out" and compliment Rich, the service manager at Uniontown Kawasaki and Can Am in Smock, PA for telephone support in talking me through my ignition module crisis, and a second IO (idiot operator) starting issue. Thank you Rich.
