• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glad you found it. be sure to lube the latch. As you have just discovered, the key switch doesn't have much leverage, so sometimes it won't move the latch or turn all the way to release, if there is the slightest extra resistance. Pulling the cable exerts more force than the key, so that can work when the key won't. Be aware that even as little overfilling the trunk so the cargo pushes lightly against the lid can keep the key (or electric release where applicable) from opening the trunk without pushing on the lid to reduce the resistance at the latch.

Dielectric silicone is what I use to lube my latches. Look very closely with a strong flashlight under the seat edge as you set the pin on the latch. My pin was off from the start and once I got it centered in the latch hole it has worked like butter ever since.
