• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If only backing a trailer with a Spyder was this easy!

Cute...🤗

But you would have a tough time hiding all that in a 622 or freedom trailer...:roflblack::roflblack:

Knew it was fake from the start. Cars front tires were following the trailer around the corner. If the car was doing the steering, they would be turned the opposite way the trailer was headed.

Second only to money problems, backing up boat trailers late on a Sunday afternoon is a leading cause of divorces among yuppies. ;)

:roflblack::clap::roflblack:

At first I was thinking that must be some great feature VW has. But since it's fake, how does it help VWs?

If got someone's attention; the ad did it's job.

As for backing a trailer; it is way easier than most people make it to be.

We love our TDI VWs. Best cars we've ever owned.

In fact; I would love to see a Spyder with a diesel engine. Can you imagine the fuel mileage it would get?

It actually is a real system. They just made a fake commercial to dramatize it. http://www.vicbaileyvw.com/blog/how-does-vw-trailer-assist-work/.

Here's an article about the Ford version. http://autoweek.com/article/car-reviews/2018-ford-f-150-pro-trailer-backup-assist-review-easy-way-feel-less-idiot
You steer the pickup with a knob, not the steering wheel, while you're backing up the trailer!

My 23' snowmobile trailer backs up like a dream. The only problem I have is seeing behind it when backing up. I always check behind the trailer before getting into my truck, but something could get behind me and I not even know it.

I seriously need a backup camera for the trailer.
