It is amazing to me that some people can look at the tartan and tell you the clan. "White" can be part of the "lamont" Clan, or "Macgregor" clan. So that could technically be my tartan. I will have to check and see.....................

There are many tartans representing a clan. Patterns and colors vary depending on where a member of the clan came from. There are tartans for different activities. So yes, that tartan, in a different pattern, could represent Clan MacGregor.
