• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ice still on Lake Ontario Shoreline

I took a ride yesterday on my new spydie and ice in places 20 feet high along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. It will be a while yet before anyone will be swimming in the lake lol. I can't believe how this baby shifts so smooth and the ride is awesome.:yes:20140412_135803.jpg20140412_135424.jpg20140412_135727.jpg20140412_135734.jpg

I'll bet that the wind coming off of that ice was ... invigorating!! :D
Our reservoirs are also still "pretty-full" of ice; crossing them, makes you sit up and take notice of the temperature shift! :yikes:

That north wind off the lake made my temp gauge drop a bit on the spydie lol

I know that it did! :D
The passenger's heated handgrips also work a whole lot better, than the ones on my 2010. (That's the official report from the Missus!)

Good to know..!!

But it is not covering it all...it is melting away and more and more ryders will be appearing on the road...:yes:

It's amazing how quickly that stuff disappears! :D
Yesterday; both the Neversink and Rondout Reservoirs were pretty much full of broken-up sheet ice...
Today; the Rondout was clear of all of it! :2thumbs:
And it got to 75 degrees!!!:ohyea::yes:

Glad you could get out and ryde!:yes::yes::yes: Ice still around in Minnesota.... Rode our 2014 RT L about 400 miles so far....love it! :D:D:D

Our spring was great last week, now back to cold & rain (maybe snow) this week... ugh :banghead:

Most of the snow has melted, except for in the high elevations. The wind coming off the mountains gives you that invigorating air conditioner effect.

The lakes and rivers are still ice covered--but the rivers are starting to show a small channel in them. The lake a couple miles from my house has not went to black ice yet. Still a couple planes with ski's on them parked on the lake in front of their houses.
