• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I purchased new key cylinder from BRP. I want to set up the key cylinder to use the existing key. Where can I get the new cylinder set up. Please advise.

My Dealer replaced the right saddle bag cable and latch.
Sometime in the next 5000 miles the key cylinder fell out!
The Dealer supplied a new key cylinder with 2 keys.
I would prefer to have the same key work for all four cylinders - Ignition, left and right saddle bags, and Trunk.

Hey Rag. What you are wanting to do is "re-key" the new cylinder to the old keys. A locksmith does that - not just a hardware store, but a professional locksmith. You’d have to remove the new cylinder, if it’s already installed, and take it to his shop. Get an estimate. Won’t be cheap.

Thanks for your idea.
I have been to 9 different locksmith shops.
I was told that they don't have the ability do it.
I live in the Minneapolis St Paul MN area.

Well, that’s crazy and that’s all I got. I’m sure you know how to use Google. Good luck.
