• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I thought having girls, my spyder was safe.

I picked my daughter up from school. When I got off the spyder to open the garage door, I turned around, and found my 11 year old trying things on for size. She said that she wanted to see if she was big enough to drive it. Time to install electric shock security system. LOL

Don't worry too much about that. You have bigger headache's coming like boys coming over and actually wanting to take your daughter out on a date. :yikes:

Enjoy this time my friend because it doesn't last too long and then they are gone before you know it.

You should have known today's women don't know that they can't! The impossible just takes thirty seconds more time...

and will want to use your spyder for the date..!! :roflblack:

Enjoy them (your girls) while they are young and still living at home

I let my oldest daughter have my Spyder for a couple of months (my '08). She said it was Okay, but not a motorcyle. She then purchased a V Star. She is just 57 yrs young.

I can almost see the look of determination on her face... :congrats:
It appears that you may have started something...

Just wait till she turns 13, you'll wish for these days back :roflblack:. We have a granddaughter living with us, she's 17. I'm looking forward to graduation now :gaah:.

My baby girl just turned 10, and she's really into the Spyder and is eager to drive it. I'm enjoying every minute of her curiosity. Wouldn't trade it for the world. They grow up way too fast.

Girls

My 15 and 12 yr olds love the spyder. They want to ride as much as mom. They all compete for seat time. Sadly, I took my last ride on Sunday with my oldest(had shoulder surgery on Monday). Can't wait to get healed so everyone can get some more seat time. Until then, I'm just gonna drool over the new machines and all the info about the '14's. Looks like a trade for the '15 model year!

You go girl! My 8 year old can steer and work the throttle (only in 1st gear) and I don't doubt that she'll be riding when she's old enough.:doorag:
