I'm saying some prayers for him and his family, and I think that this last piece of music from a GREAT entertainer, will have to find a way to my house.

What a talent - entertainer, instrumentalist, singer, actor......and a brave individual to continue to entertain while knowing he has this insidious disease. One of my favorites: "Wichita Lineman" sung by Glen Campbell and written by Jimmy Webb ".....And I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time....."

Truly a country legend. Sad to see when a debilitating disease begins to take its toll. I watched the TV special that addressed his Alzheimers and it was pretty hard for me to watch it.

Looks like this just makes it formal or official what has been the actual situation for over four years now. Article says he hasn't recorded anything since 2012.

I hope he is with it enough that the release of this album is really Glen Campbell saying goodbye and not just a way for the family to gracefully move him out of the public scene completely because of his Alzheimer's.

I remember watching The Glenn Campbell Good Time Hour back in the day. And I saw him on TV promoting the farewell tour. He didn't look so good then. As I recall the back-up singers helped a lot on his performances then. I'd be interested to hear some cuts from this new album.

Bless him and his family.
