• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. I Phone 5 not working for music

Does anyone else use their I phones for music on the Spyder. I used my I phone 4 alot with no trouble, the I Phone 5 requires an adapter to plug in. Now the music cuts in and out. I get a message on the phone that says this is not compatible with the phone.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or maybe has solved this issue.

Thanks for any help,
Bob

Is your adapter an authentic Apple connector or a generic one? I have both, and it only works with the OEM Apple adapter. The generic one (from Amazon) only charges the phone, but will not work any of the sound apps.

It's the adapter I got at the Apple store when I bought my phone.
Thanks

Another thing you need to look into is that when connected, make sure the iPhone is not jumping all over the place on the trunk.

I've had no issues with my iPhone 5 connected to the :spyder2: other than generic adapter.

Thanks, maybe I'll try a new adapter.
