There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I need some help with exhaust

I have a 2015 F3-S. My wife and I decided to put a 2 up shock on it. It seams to ride just fine. The reason we got that shock is because, when we ride together we always have the exhaust rubbing the ground. What is the best exhaust to put on the bike? The stock pipe points at the ground and, when I get on the bike it is closer to the ground. When the wife and I are on it at the same time, it is even closer. I would like an exhaust that sounds close to the stock one but, dosen't point at the ground like the stock one. I have seen the 2 brothers exhaust and it appears to fit the bike better than the stock one. What should I look at?

2 Brothers are notoriously loud. I'm not familiar with your exhaust, but I'd guess you could have an exhaust shop cut and re angle the tip.

You appear to being trying to treat the symptom and not the cause! With all due respect, a shock/spring for the rear of the bike which can better handle the total weight will be more advantageous to the rider, passenger, bike and muffler. With both people on board the bike's rear sag should be about 40mm. The only muffler sounding close to the sound of the original will be the original!

The stock F3S exhaust does not angle downward. It actually has a significant tail up angle, even with a rider on board. If your tail is dragging enough to have the exhaust get anywhere near the ground, you have a suspension problem, not enough rear spring for the two of you. Or the exhaust is bent or not installed where it should be.

I agree with this.

Is your exhaust (muffler) hitting the ground or is your cat hitting the ground.

I can't see how your muffler can even hit unless something is wrong.

Also is the top of your rear tire hitting by your brake lights?

You definitely need a better rear shock sprung for the weight you ride with.

Stiff

EDIT

I just looked at mine and I guess I can see how the muffler could hit. Your best bet would be like said above. Get a muffler shop to angle your exhaust up.

If opinions are what you want...mine goes for the R77 from Yoshimura...:2thumbs:

Do these work with the F3-S? I just watched some You Tube videos on this. It sounds like I want it to sound. Deeper!

I will take and post some pics of the exhaust I have on the F3 later this evening. It is stock, put on there by the dealer and, angled by the BRP factory. If some of you think I did something wrong, I didn't do it. I have the occasional 2 up shock offered from BRP for the wife and I. She only rides once in a while. Not the best shock but, not the worst either. The cat is not dragging on the ground, the front of the exhaust pipe is. The pics I will take will show you more.
