I need help...

I have an 08 rs and the seat won't come up latch/switch. has anyone else had this issue? How do I fix it?

It may sound stupid, but I once struggled for 30 mins to open my '08 seat. Found I was turning the key the wrong way, despite having had the Spyder for over a year.

Yes I have tried pushing on the seat...it seems like the key is not turning all the way?

WHEN YOU GET IT OPEN TAKE THE POST OFF THE SEAT I TOOK MINE OFF I DON'T THE KEY I JUST LIFT THE SEAT WHEN INEED GAS.

I know it's obvious, but you are pushing down on the key before you turn it. I only bring this up because I have forgot to do that before. Lol

Push the key down, twist it to the left, grab the seat on the right side "Horn", and try giving it a good "jiggle"...
(This is probably a two-person job...)
