Agreed. This one was recently mounted at Seymour Johnson AFB near what was the officers club. Clubs are not segregated anymore, but they (officers) do have their own lounge. The 4Th Fighter Wing originated as an Eagle Squadron, American pilots, with the RAF prior to the US entering WWII. That's the emblem on the nose. I wear a 71 Squadron patch on my vest. The 334th Fighting Eagles, from which I retired, originated as 71 Squadron of the RAF.
