• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are doing alignments at NorCal Powersports in Santa Rosa, CA and we did three new 2016 RT Ltd for three fun ladies. One is in her late 60s another in her 70s and the third is 82! Only one had ridden previously and she talked the others into getting Spyders. They were golfing buddies and now they are Spyder riding golfing buddies.

On a side note, I hit 80,000 on my 14 RTS today! I'm looking forward to the next 80,000!

I hope you told those ladies about SpyderLovers. Maybe they'll join the party here and come to some events!

:congrats: on your mileage mark!

:agree: and :congrats: to the ladies on their purchase. Santa Rosa was an old hang out of mine, in my Navy days. I had an aunt and uncle that lived there, and that was my excape place from the base.
Also :congrats: Ann on your mileage

Thanks but it was 80,000 not 8,000

Congrats on the 80000!
Not to hijack the thread, but do you know what year they changed the odometer reset from 100,000 KM to miles. I remember at first the odometer would turn over to zero about 60+ thousand miles?

I think that was in 10 and as long as you had the BUDS update you were okay. Last year a friend was really upset when her odometer on her 08 reset since she had ever had the update done.

(To paraphrase a VERY successful marketing campaign...)
:D You meet the nicest people on Spyders...
:congrats: on the first 80,000. I bet that you're about the first one to reach that nark! :firstplace:
