• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I Learned Something Today...

The official dates are 11-13 but I don't mind going up a day early. I had great time last time I was there, it's held on a huge grassy field right on the lake. Did some nice tours and a very large parade, had some stuff installed, all in all a great weekend.

I game for any plan, long story short I have a bunch of vacation time built up and I have to take it so I have the whole of July off from work.

The is the club that runs it , http://www.club-spyder.com

There won't be any spyders in production but there is a really nice spyder rally close by in Magog Québec July 11th to 13th. I went in 2012 and had a great at time Lamont and Reggie was up there. Didn't go last year due to a back injury but plan to go this year.

Glad you will be going Harry, would be great to see you again, it was fun at SITA. Let me know where you are staying. We will be there, would be great to see more of our American neighbours and fellow SpyderloversSpyderlovers there!:thumbup:

I'm semi-retired so I can take whatever time I want so the "day early" is no problem for me either. You know a good place to stay up there. I imagine lodging might be tight.

I had an invitation to see my $60,000 Shelby being built and I refused, why would I want to see a $20,000 Spyder being built? I'm out. :roflblack:

No really!

Then you're really not going to enjoy a trip to Mackinaw Island where people stand for hours watching them make their famous fudge...LOL

That event is the original Spyderfest

Regarding Tours; I've got several folks that I can contact... If it's not something for the coming Months, we can always push the timeframe to where folks have a chance to make some plans for it...

An invasion of Canada?
Let's start making some plans! :D

You are welcome in Quebec. And please, spend a lot of money when you will be in Valcourt. lol...

The Eastern Townships area are very beautiful in summer time. When date will be known, I will ride from Quebec City to Valcourt to meet with some Spyderlovers member.

For those who plans to came in Valcourt, please note the following informations from the Canadian Border Service Agency:

-------------------------------------------
Identification requirements for U. S. citizens and permanent residents:

If you are a U.S. citizen, ensure you carry proof of citizenship such as a passport, birth certificate, a certificate of citizenship or naturalization, a U.S. Permanent Resident Card, or a Certificate of Indian Status along with photo identification.

For all modes of entry, we recommend you carry a valid passport for all travel abroad, including visits to Canada from the United States. A passport may be required by your airline or alternative transportation authority, as it is the only universally-accepted identification document.

Citizens and permanent residents of the United States who are members of the NEXUS or FAST programs may present their membership cards to the CBSA as proof of identity and as documents that denote citizenship, when arriving by land or marine modes only.

All visitors arriving from or transiting through the United States are encouraged to visit the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Web site for information concerning the U.S. Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, and the requirements to enter or return to the United States.
