I have a 2015 RTS, about 15,000 miles. May be in need of new rear tire, fronts look good to me. I can get some of the Kenda P3 OEM put on for a decent price. Or for about $150 more get, I believe, Hena on the rear and Hankook on the front. Wondering if I should go the cheaper route for now. Tires have performed well for me. Or just get the rear done at a lower price and wait until some of the Kenda Kanines show up. Going to make a 4000 mile trip end of Sep.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: ... about the rear Kenda , .... but if the Spyders has good alignment ( ie. Lazer ) then 30,000 for front would be average ..... Mike ..... :thumbup:

If you can get someone ( or yourself ) to mount a rear tire ..... A better choice for less money would be a RIKEN in 215/60 -15 it has an Excellent rating and I recently bought one at TireRack ( ships free $100.00 ) and have tested it in the Rain and I Loooooooooooooooooooooove it ..... good luck .... I sure hope you are right on the Riken tire. Just ordered one after 6 Kumho's. Hoping for better wet road handling.

Well " hope " ??? .... the last 7 tires I recommended for Spyders have been ....EXCELLENT .... so I don't think you need to worry ...... PS don't bother balancing a REAR tire .... I did it once in 09 and haven't done the last 5 rear tires since ..... all rode / ride fine ..... Mike :thumbup:

I changed the OEM rear tire at 5,824 miles. I am currently running General Altimax RT43 on the rear.
I have a 2014 RTS-SE6.

It's like the lotto. Most people lose. But there are always a few winners. Be happy. Just don't expect to win very often.
Several years ago many of us were using the Michelin Hydro Edge (215x60R15) as our favorite rear tire of choice...Then Michelin NO longer made that tire...These tires wore like iron due to the 800 tread wear...I just got this e-mail today...Did Michelin reintroduce this tire back in the market or is this a old stock tire????

The re-placement tire for the Hydro-Edge ( I had one and CRIED when they stopped production ) was the Defender T & H ( and this has turned out to be a Great tire also ) ... IMHO that tire link is to a VERY old tire, the hydro-edge went out of production about 5-6 years ago...... Look at the Defender ( $156.00 ) or the Tire I recently bought a RIKEN Raptor HR 215/60-15 @ $99.00 .... I love this tire ...... good luck .... Mike

I had one and it did give great mileage ...... It surprised me to find it had an 800 wear rating ..... it still had great ratings in the four categories that we look for ....W _ D _ W _ comfort ...... JMHO .... Mike :thumbup:
