• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just signed us up as an official SpyderLovers Club

I run a few club websites and they all start out just like this one. Between all my clubs I would have well over 50,000 members. Each club gets together in local chapters and rides together from time to time. I'm sure this club will be much the same as time goes by and more folks get their Spyders. :spyder:

BRP should be posting the info of our new "Official" Spyder Club here.

I'm not sure how this is going to work exactly but if you want to setup a SpyderLovers chapter just fill out the form and call it SpyderLovers-East Tennessee or whatever your chapter location would be. This is worldwide so I expect to see some other countries getting in the action too. :doorag: :spyder:

This is mainly to get other SpyderLovers together for group rides and meet and greets. I have made life long friends though meetings like this so take some time and see if you can put something together. I know for a fact it will be well worth the effort.

Here's a shot of some of the members of my VTX club. We have over 34,000 members in this club. :doorag:

Lamont,

Wow! This sounds fantastic. I am really looking forward to being a part of this incredible community of Spyder Lovers. I know I am already a member online, but it's a lot different when meeting people in the "REAL" world.

Hey, I have just started a club myself for another vehicle that is being developed. I would love it if you could give me some pointers on how to GROW and maintain the club. Please send me a personal email if you can help me in any way. Thanks.

Great thinking, Lamonster! You've done a phenomenal job with the site and I can't wait to see how the club idea shakes out.

I used to be in a Delorean Racing Club but we kept losing members when they reached 88mph. Tragic.

Lamonster,
I was a member of that VTX Club! (I had a 2006 VTX 1300R until just recently.) That was such a helpful site! This one is proving to be just as helpful, as I prepare to receive my Spyder (this month).
NOW, the big story....
I first heard of the Spyder through a posting YOU made on the VTX site, and that's what brought me to this point in my life! So, Thanks for the message you posted back then, and for the support of this new Spyder community that you are providing now!
